David Hick is an expert for Smart Cities & Neighborhoods and digital citizen participation @ DKSR. He brings extensive experience in conceptual and operational work with urban data platforms. In his role as a research assistant at TU Dresden, Mr. Hick was the scientific coordinator of the research project "Data4City -Data Platform for the Development of Attractive Neighborhoods and Innovative Urban Business Models" from 2017 to 2019. Starting in 2019, he transferred the knowledge generated in the process into the development of the PinCityApp at Spectos - a participation app that identifies and locates local citizen needs and visualizes them by means of a city cockpit for municipalities. Furthermore, he is advising the research project "U_CODE-UrbanCollective Design Environment "in the pilot phase together with the India Smart Cities Mission inPimpri-Chinchwad/Pune. Mr. Hick graduated from the TU Dresden as Dipl.-Ing. in the field of architecture with a specialization in knowledge architecture.
