Datenmanagement

Data management is the set of all methodological, conceptual, organizational and technical measures and procedures for handling the resource called "data". The goal of data management is to incorporate data into business processes with their maximum utilization potential, and to ensure their optimal use during ongoing operations – all with the least possible use of resources. This means, for example, using the same type of data for different applications.  

Data management is defined by data control and is part of a data strategy.
